We are thankful for the rain the Lord has finally provided. It has helped quiet the wildfires around us and throughout the state. We praise Him for His provision and protection.

Pray that the Lord will open doors for new contacts with people who are sincerely seeking the truth and have a desire to study God’s Word. Pray that He will give us opportunities to share the Gospel and disciple those who are receptive.

As always, one of our greatest challenges continues to be the financial needs of the seminary. As a faculty, we have been seeking the Lord’s wisdom concerning the long-term financial stability of SEBEL. We recognize that the future growth and effectiveness of this ministry depend, in part, upon establishing a solid and sustainable financial foundation.
Would you pray with us specifically about this need? There are many technological tools and resources now available that could significantly improve the online learning experience, help our instructors develop more professional course materials and presentations, and make our classes more effective and accessible. Unfortunately, many of these resources are currently beyond our financial reach.
We are trusting the Lord to give us wisdom concerning which opportunities to pursue and to provide the resources necessary to move forward. Our desire is not simply to expand SEBEL, but to continually improve the quality of the biblical education we provide so that those whom God sends our way can be thoroughly equipped to serve Him and faithfully teach His Word to others.

Continue to pray that the contacts made through Sports Camp will respond and that the Lord will provide opportunities for us to follow up with them and share the Gospel.

Penny’s one-year checkup and evaluation went well, and we are thankful for the encouraging report. Her doctors have been able to take her off several more medications. Her heart condition is considered stable, although there has not been any additional improvement since her six-month evaluation. For now, they will continue to monitor her through the Heart Failure Clinic for another nine months.
